RUCK:FEST 2022
This year provided another opportunity to sponsor ruck:fest, so i rode out to jersey to witness it first hand again, and to make some photos.
There won’t be much talk of product. there won’t be any talk of the event. What I’m going to talk about is the perseverance, endurance, character, will, and determination of the heavy hitters from the boogie bag bunch that came out to test their mettle. These folks are the exemplars of the community (one of which being the Boogie Bag Queen herself). These are folks that tax their gear like they tax themselves. The reason goodwerks gear is built the way it is, is to serve folks like this. The “never quit” attitude. The “make it harder and let me smile about it” perspective.
The goodwerks community, the boogie bag bunch, is the most important part of goodwerks, no question. to see folks that are members of the community push themselves to this extent is nothing short of awe-inspiring. these folks display what it truly means to be selfless, to be a good team mate, to sacrifice for another. I couldn’t be more proud to have sponsored a Krew team from Steel City Ruck Club (#bestruckclubever) and to witness firsthand their inability to quit on one another.
